Breast Conserving Surgery
This surgery, sometimes referred to as a lumpectomy or partial mastectomy, conserves breast tissue while removing a tumor or lymph nodes from the breast.
A surgery which creates a breast shape using an implant, tissue from another place of the body (autologous), or both.
The entire breast is removed in this surgery, but the pectoralis major muscle is left intact. No lymph nodes are removed
Modified Radical Mastectomy
Removal of the breast and some of the surrounding affected tissue–may include removal of some lymph
nodes as well.
Sometimes called a Halstead Radical, this surgery is the removal of the breast tissue and surrounding tissue frequently including the pectoral muscle and lymph nodes.
Some women looking for a symmetry solution did not have a surgery
Genetically affects women as failed breast development. Frequently there is underdeveloped or absence of the pectoralis muscles on one side of the body.
Can occur naturally. If you notice your shirts pull to one side, you are likely asymmetric. If you have had reconstruction or radiation, over time you may notice your breasts becoming uneven.
For that special occasion or special dress that needs a little extra pizzazz. We have products for that too!
