Of the incredible 30-40 person team,

we have a few special mentions

Armando Sardi, M.D., is the founder and president of Partners For Cancer Care And Prevention Foundation. He serves as the director of The Institute for Cancer Care at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and as the chief of the Institute’s Surgical Oncology Division. He invited Anne Ericson to join him and his wife, Mavalynne, to their visit to Colombia in 2015, and they’ve visited twice a year, every year ever since.

With a background in business and marketing, Mavalynne Orozco-Urdaneto offers over twenty years of service experience to Colombia’s most marginalized communities. Mavalynne first met her husband Dr. Sardi on one of the mission trips. As Executive Director of Partners For Cancer Care And Prevention Foundation, she is grateful to support women in their struggles for survival and eager to support the organization’s development into the future.

Anne is a 45+ year breast cancer survivor and has been a mastectomy fitter since 1985. As a retired breast care specialist from ABC her compassion for helping women in all stages of survivorship is something she does best. She spoke to Jolly about offering some donations from ABC, and of course, Jolly was very interested.

In 2019 Jolly and his wife, Dorothea, joined the group to Cali, Colombia. They were overwhelmed at the work the Foundation is doing to help the women that have no financial means for their products and other medical needs.

Owner of The Total Woman Boutique in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Ruth has been a certified mastectomy fitter since 1960. She knew Dr. Armando Sardi and his wife Mavalynne both originally from Cali, Columbia, South America, and Founders of Partners For Cancer Care And Prevention Foundation and helped connect Anne Ericson to the organization.
